The overall Johannesburg Water systems are gradually recovering. The bulk supplier continues to pump at full capacity, but the strategic reservoir remains low which slows down recovery of the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) reservoirs and towers. This prompts Johannesburg Water to implement daily interventions in respective systems and area to manage supply.

The systems under constraints are reducing and currently those experiencing challenges are the Commando, Diepsloot, Central and Soweto systems. Those systems which have improved and or are improving are under close observation by the Entity.
