As South Africa marks Disability Rights Awareness Month (DRAM) from 3 November to 3 December, the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) reaffirms its commitment to building a truly inclusive city through the rollout of the Universal Design Access Plan (UDAP).

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has introduced a Debt Relief Programme aimed at assisting financially struggling residents and businesses to settle outstanding municipal accounts, while restoring financial sustainability to the City.

The media briefing will also provide insight into the Department’s vision and strategic plans for the 2025/2026 financial year, including the allocated budget and its intended impact on service delivery, institutional strengthening, and citywide safety interventions.
